Criminal Sentencings

Christopher Andrew Summers changed his plea to guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree and was sentenced to 27.75 months in prison. He had been charged with the crime in 2017.

Matayo A. Matta-McDougall changed his plea to guilty to attempting to elude a pursuing police officer (count one), unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree (count two) and assault in the second degree (count three), sentenced to five months in prison for count one, 41 months in prison for count two and 77 months in prison for count three. All three sentences are to be served concurrently.

Bryan Lee Wing was found guilty by jury trial on charges of burglary in the first degree, malicious mischief in the second degree and theft in the third degree. Sentenced to 68 months in prison for count one, 29 months in prison for count two and 364 days in prison for count three. Sentences for counts one and two are to be served consecutively. The sentence for count three is to be served concurrent to count one. In total, defendant is to serve 97 months in prison.

Civil Judgments

The previously reported judgement against Ronald J. Thurman for overpaid unemployment benefits has be reported as satisfied in full by the State of Washington.

Wiza Nyasulu, Arlington, has been charged with Harassment – Threats to kill (domestic violence) in connection to an incident in which he is accused of making threatening phone calls to a woman in Lincoln County. Bail has been set for $50,000.
