Tigers overcome Lake Roosevelt and Inchelium

Odessa vs. Inchelium

On January 11 the Tigers welcomed the Inchelium Hornets to the Odessa gym for a conference game. The Tigers took their own bite out of the Hornets, winning 68 to 34.

The poor Hornets didn’t have much of chance to sting the 8-0 Tigers. This streak works as a team in every game and that is why they are “the mighty, mighty Tigers.”

Leading the Tigers in points was the Machine, Ryan Moffet, with 28. This is truly a team that plays together, though, as he was followed in points by the Maxpreps player of the game Marcus King with 11, Camden Weber with 8, Jaden Hunt with 7, Jett Nelson with 6, Daeton Deife with 4, Jacob Scrupps and Nathan Carstensen both with 2 points.

The Tigers had 38 rebounds, 13 assists and 28 steals in the game. They did what they do best to keep the ball headed toward the Tiger goal.

Odessa vs. Lake Roosevelt

On Monday, January 13, the Tigers took the prize from the LR Raiders by a score of 61 to 54 at home in Odessa. The game was a pitched battle from start to finish.

The Machine, Ryan Moffet, lead the Tigers in scoring with a total of 25 points. The rest of the team wasn’t far behind though. Marcus King had a total of 12, Jaden Hunt (the Maxpreps player of the game) and Camden Weber each had 10 and Eric Johnston and Jett Nelson each had 2 points in the game.

The Raiders weren’t able to take over the ship due to outstanding teamwork by the 2020 streak of Tigers. With a total of 21 rebounds, 11 assists and 9 steals, it’s no wonder the Tigers are undefeated on the season. Up until meeting the Tigers Monday night, the Raiders also had an unbeaten season in the works.
