INCIDENT LOG

Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

Editor’s note: The report that the newspaper received from the sheriff’s office was missing the location for many of the incidents listed here. The newspaper has listed the location wherever possible.

Jan. 13: A caller reported a possible homeless person in the park.

A welfare check was requested for a citizen.

A domestic disturbance was reported.

The Lincoln County Hospital reported a patient left without permission.

A 911 call was made and a man and woman were heard arguing on the line. The call was disconnected.

An Arlington man wanted on a Lincoln County warrant turned himself in.

A Las Vegas caller requested that a welfare check be done on a person living in Lincoln County.

A Davenport caller reported someone in a white SUV driving recklessly through town and through her yard.

A commercial alarm system sounded.

Jan. 14:

CPS reported a possible assault on a child.

A woman reported a suspicious person.

A person reported finding keys.

A Davenport woman reported an abandoned vehicle near her house.

A woman reported that a child of whom she has partial custody of is currently living in Lincoln County without access to water.

Jan. 15:

A Sprague man reported a suspicious man staying with his stepson.

A Davenport woman reported someone missing out of Denver.

A woman reported that her garage was broken into.

A Coulee Dam caller reported a car passing several cars in a no passing zone on a state highway.

Jan. 16:

A woman reported she was passed on the highway when she was already doing the speed limit.

A caller reported finding a dog.

People for People requested deputies make contact with one of their drivers.

A civil dispute between neighbors in Davenport was reported.

Jan. 17:

US Bank in Harrington requested assistance.

Jan. 18:

A person in Sprague reported possible animal abuse.

A Creston woman reported that her ex-husband was throwing her stuff out into the snow.

A caller reported seeing someone jack knife a boat on the ramp near the Fort Spokane Boat Launch.

JAIL BOOKINGS

Jan. 13: Wiza Nyasula, 37, Arlington, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of harassment with a threat to kill.

Jesse Eric Vanwinkle, 30, Spokane arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of ignition interlock violation.

Jan. 14: Onesimo Cruz, 27, Nespelem, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of failure to comply.

Jan. 17: David Wayne McCoy, 41, Almira, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on charges of indemnity theft, theft in the first degree, theft in the second degree and money laundering.

From Jan. 13 to 19, eight individuals were booked into the Lincoln County Jail under contract with the Washington State Department of Corrections and one for Adams County.
