Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

Several listings are missing locations because the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office did not include in its report to the media.

April 13

• A Ritzville caller said a friend released from the hospital needed to go back. The call was referred to Adams County. The call was referred back after it was determined the person was in Lincoln County

• An employee at the Reardan US Bank reported a suspicious person in the parking lot.

• An Auburn caller requested a welfare check on his uncle living in Lincoln County.

• A Davenport caller reported getting a bad check.

• A Sprague caller asked for assistance with her friend who was wondering around and “not acting right.”

• A caller (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported that her 15-year-old son assaulted her.

• A Grand Coulee caller reported her storage unit being broken into.

• A Davenport caller reported that her neighbor was playing music too loudly.

• A deputy assisted a driver who ran out of gas on U.S. Highway 2.

April 14

• A Davenport nursing home reported one of its residents has passed away.

• A possible burglary was reported in Sprague.

• A Federal Way man came into the office to report a lot of garbage in the road between Hawkcreek and Gunning.

• A woman (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported that her father in law was threatening to kick her out of her own home.

• A Fruitland man requested a welfare check be done on his ex-wife living in Lincoln County. He said he sends her a check every month and he usually calls when she receives it. He hasn’t been able to reach her this month.

• A Davenport caller reported someone digging in an alley.

April 15

• A man (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported a person living in a trailer on the street.

• A woman called to report a man threatening her with a chainsaw in Lincoln County. She said the man is violating a protection order she has on him.

• A Wilbur caller reported a van on the side of the road.

April 16

• A caller (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported finding a wallet in the street.

• A caller (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported a plane flying very low.

• A Newport woman reported being scammed out of $500 online.

• A missing pet was found (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office).

• A person (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported someone putting up a gate near the road that blocks her only entrance to her residence.

• A caller reported a possible DUI on state Highway 257.

• An Almira resident requested her niece be removed from her house.

• A Davenport woman reported a suspicious car spotlighting her house.

April 17

• A caller (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported damage done to her car.

• An Almira caller reported that a neighbor’s two children, about four and six years old, are often outside naked.

• A caller (location not reported by the Sheriff’s Office) reported a stolen package.

• A caller requested a welfare check be done on a man in a wheelchair going down Gunning Road.

• A person called to ask for directions.

April 18

• A Davenport caller reported a past disturbance.

• A Davenport caller reported his neighbor’s dogs were barking.
