Firemen's BBQ July 4 (with changes)

ODESSA – The Fire Department will host its annual July 4 barbecue at the community center this year, with service from a drive-up window in order to comply with Covid-19 guidelines, according to Rural Fire Chief Roger Sebesta.

Meals will be pre-packaged ahead of time to speed up the delivery process. There will be no special orders. Patrons can then take their meals home or maintain social distancing wherever they choose.

Payment this year will be by donation only, so that servers will not be burdened with making change. Plans as of right now are to offer the same menu as offered the past few...
