ODESSA — Odessa High School ag teacher and FFA adviser HaLee Walter applied for an FFA Foundation CASE grant this spring to buy all sorts of new equipment for the school’s agriculture education shop.
The grant was fully funded to the tune of $21,324. The grant will allow the purchase of various pieces of new equipment to help support the new APT (Agriculture Power Technology) class that Walter will be teaching.
The new items include three Miller Multimatic 215 Auto-Set Multiprocess Welders, woodworking equipment, a water bath, five new LabQuests, Vernier sensors and more.
