Melcher named Board Member of the Year

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake School District has named Odessa High School alumna Vickey (Thompson) Melcher its 2019-2020 Board Member of the Year. She is the school board's legislative representative and a champion for the local community. She advocates the needs of the community on behalf of the school district by communicating regularly with the legislative representatives. She conveys to them the importance of public education and of engaging with community stakeholders in support of public education.
