Earl Joseph Meise

Earl Joseph Meise, 97 of Odessa, Wash., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Odessa.

Earl was born April 28, 1923, in Quincy, Ill., to Fred and Alvina Meise. Earl attended high school in Washtucna and graduated in 1943. He married Ramona Jean Burghard on November 2, 1946. The couple celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary in November 2019.

Earl enlisted in the United States Navy in November 1946. He did his basic training in San Diego, California and returned to Whidbey Island, Washington where he was stationed. Earl moved to Ritzville, Washington after the service, where son...
