Theft, drug possession cases take plea deals

DAVENPORT — A series of criminal cases cleared Lincoln County Superior Court on Tuesday as the men charged accepted plea deals from the Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

The cases, which ranged from drug possession to theft were resolved by entering pleas with Lincoln County Superior Court Judge John Strohmaier on July 7.

Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Barkdull said utilizing a plea deal to resolve a criminal case is a necessary tool for the his office.
