Davenport, Sheriff's Office reach new contract

DAVENPORT – The City of Davenport and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have reached a tentative agreement on a new four-year contract for law enforcement services. The contract language is set to be reviewed by the city council at their Sept. 23 meeting.

As a result of months of discussion, the city will contract with the sheriff’s office for law enforcement services including response to calls, dispatch and jail services.
