Warnick, Dent to host land management meeting

DAVENPORT – Senator Judy Warnick and 13th legislative district rep. Tom Dent are hosting a meeting at Stockland Livestock in Davenport on Monday, Oct. 19 at 8:30am to discuss land management issues with residents. The event is being co-sponsored by the Washington Cattlemen’s Association and Cattle Producers of Washington.

The event will include presentations by the state Department of Natural Resources, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, the state Dept. of Agriculture, USDA and the U.S. Forest Service. Topics will include land management, fire protection, the value of habitat, grazing and noxious weed control.
