Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
ODESSA – The Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center now hosts a medication disposal kiosk for unwanted or expired medications. The drop box is secure and accessible during business hours. Family members may dispose of prescription medications on behalf of the person to whom the prescription belongs, but healthcare providers may not dispose of someone else's prescriptions. The drop box is made available by a statewide initiative that provides indefinite funding for all expenses associated with the program. Med-Project is the vendor with whom the state has contracted to install and dispose of unused medications, and the program is free to any pharmacy, hospital, clinic, police station, fire station, etc.
