December 27

Traffic stops: 21

A driver was cited and released for failure to transfer a vehicle title.

An elderly church goer was assisted in navigating icy paths on the way to church.

A caller reported that her husband told her the night before that it was “the worst Christmas that he has had in his life.” The caller reported he has bipolar and mental health issues and that he’s sleeping and exhausted.

A dark colored truck hauling a fishing boat side swiped a silver SUV in an unknown location. No one was injured.

Assault was reported in an unknown location.

A disabled vehicle was reported.

An unsecure hanger was reported.

Suspicious circumstances were reported twice.

December 28

Traffic stops: 10

A two-vehicle collision was reported in an undisclosed location.

A welfare check was requested on Hawk Creek Road North in Davenport.

A Davenport man reported that his neighbor has two dogs, one of which was a black lab who can be very aggressive and climbed through a hole in the fence again.

A dog that appeared to have been hit by a car in the ditch at Wild Rose Lane on Sunset Highway was reported.

An employee at Safeway in Davenport reported a customer refusing to wear their mask, acting angrily, causing a scene and not leaving.

Possible mail theft was reported.

Theft was reported.

A Lincoln man called to say a man is out trying change his tire, but the man didn’t pull all the way off the roadway. The caller said he wasn’t sure if the man’s hazards were on but it was super foggy out and the caller believed the man was creating a hazard.

December 29

Traffic stops: 18

ADT Security reported a residential burglary alarm went off.

A lost dog was reported.

A Davenport woman called 911 to report that she believes someone entered her apartment and moved some things around.

A disabled truck pulling a trailer was reported.

A caller reported a young woman fell and couldn’t get up. She was injured.

A civil situation was reported in Almira.

A Sprague woman requested contact from a deputy in reference to setting up a civil standby.

December 30

Traffic stops: 3

A diabetic medical call was made in Davenport.

A woman reported a man took her car the night before without permission. She reported the man didn’t have a license and took the keys out of her daughter-in-law’s purse.

A vehicle collision was reported.

A disabled vehicle was reported. An officer said they’d be trying to push a car out of the Subway parking lot.

A disabled vehicle in the ditch was reported.

A disabled black SUV on the shoulder blocking traffic needing to be towed to a rest stop was reported.

Inland Power and Light in Spokane reported a downed tree blocking Hawk Creek and Whitney Road.

Lincoln Hospital requested a deputy to give a death notification.

A traffic collision was reported.

A hit and run accident was reported.

December 31

Traffic stops: 5

A one vehicle rollover accident of a light blue Chevrolet pickup occupied by two males out and walking around was reported in Odessa.

An abandoned green Subaru station wagon off the road way down an embankment approximately one mile north of the airport on Gunning Road was reported.

A suspicious vehicle near Magee Road and Highway 21 in Wilbur was reported.

A dog behind the hospital was reported.

A caregiver on Paradise Lane reported a van went by the residence and followed her when she’s left at night a couple nights in a row.

A welfare check was requested.

A two vehicle noninjury collision one mile north of a Ford address was reported.

A broken down motorhome in the middle of Old Coulee Road about five miles north of Almira in the middle of the road way was reported. The caller was attempting to call Triple AAA but hadn’t gotten a response.

A Wilbur man said the road next to his residence hadn’t gotten plowed, kids made berms in the road and the man had damaged one of his vehicles because of the berms.

An Edwall woman reported one of her dogs had been shot across the road from her address. The woman wasn’t sure who did it.

A lawyer said the family of a victim from his client’s child molestation case came and knocked on his door. The listed address was in Wilbur.

A Davenport man said his brother and a friend left the Davenport area heading to the mountains in a Black Impala. He said two hours ago they had contact with his brother who said they were stuck somewhere, but had no other info to go off.

January 1

Traffic stops: 7

Inland Power and Light said they got a call from a resident on Hawk Creek Ranch Road. The incident was reported as a threat.

A civil situation was reported in Odessa.

A caller reported that a 15-year-old female got into a fight with her father and step mom, got into a tousle with the father and was dragged by the hair.

A man said he needed daily eye drops or his eye would fall out. He didn’t have eye drops with him.

A King County sergeant asked if someone could check an address for an individual released before a warrant could be served on him. The vehicle that dropped him off to turn in his guns came back to a Davenport address.

An Odessa man reported that his landlord didn’t want him there and thinks his life was threatened. He didn’t have any proof that there were threats, the report said.

January 2

Traffic stops: 10

Theft was reported on Quill Drive.

A caller reported a gray Taurus almost hit her and a tree as it was traveling fast out of Sterling Valley.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on Coal Avenue.

A Creston woman reported a vehicle pulled into their residence, left their call running with all the windows down while walking over to the chapel, screwed with the fence and signs and haven’t returned.

Shamill Lee Sasseen, 39, possession of substance with no prescription.
