Joy Puglisi

Joy Puglisi, 73, passed away Jan. 10, 2021, after a hard battle against idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Joy was born Aug. 10, 1946, to Leland and Velma (Henderson) Jorsch of Tacoma, Wash. She has been a resident of Odessa for over 14 years and had made numerous friends.

Joy loved to paint and sold several paintings while she was a member of the Kent Valley Art Club.

Joy leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Charles Puglisi Jr .; two children, Danell (Mark Moore) Puglisi-Knutson and Charles (Jill) Puglisi III; three grandchildren, Ingram Keth Knutson, Chase Puglisi and Paris Puglisi; two sisters, Jeanie (David) Rardin and Jill (Richard Mahaney) Dustin; sister-in-law, Vicki (Daryl) Prindle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joy was the rock that held the family together and she loved them all dearly. Due to COVID-19, a service will be at a later date.
