ODESSA – The first-semester honor roll and list of students receiving honorable mention are given below. A student must have a grade-point average of 3.50-4.00 to be on the Honor Roll, and Honorable Mention requires a grade-point average of 3.25-3.49. Grade values are based on the state transcript requirements and are as follows: A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-= 2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C-=1.7, D+=1.3, D=1.0, F=0.0.
High School
Odessa High School seniors achieving a 4.0 GPA are Nicholas Larson, Jett Nelson, Maddie Scrupps and Pilot Weishaar. Also on the honor roll are Colton Messer, Tim DeWulf, Kaya Kuchenbuch, Emma Caler, Kaden Haase and Katreace Boss.
Junior class members with a 4.0 GPA are Nathan Carstensen, Charleigh Cornett, Alyssa McKinney, Emily Scrupps and Chloe Winkler. Joining them on the honor roll are Emma Schmidt, Kaedin Schorzman, Drew Hardung and Daeton Deife. Receiving honorable mention are Nathan Melcher, Hayden Miller and Tianna Gies.
Sophomores Yvette Davey, Laela Hardung, Ashlyn Neilsen and Grace Nelson achieved a 4.0 GPA. Zane Hamper-Rosman, Kaytlyn Shafer, Collin Martin, Gage Starkel and Austin Iverson joined them on the honor roll.
In the freshman class, Zachary Claassen, Austin Read, Hayden Schuh and Jacob Scrupps all achieved a 4.0 GPA. They were joined on the honor roll by Destiny Wiles, Melloney Deife and Dakota Steward. Chad Strebeck received honorable mention.
Junior High
At the junior-high level, 8th-graders Holden Iverson, Mackenzie Lutz and Viet Tran achieved a 4.0 GPA. Sean Widger, Kathryn Finch, Corbyn Neilsen, Levi Hardung, Reegan Carstensen, Casen Watson, Kenzy Kuchenbuch and Lily Starkel joined them on the honor roll, while Bo Walter received honorable mention.
In the 7th grade, Kieu Tran achieved a 4.0 GPA, with Hudson Watson, John Melcher and Aiden Schmierer also listed on the honor roll. Honorable mention went to Angeline Phillips, Alexis Eden and Troy Hardung.
