The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for tomorrow, Saturday July 10 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Lincoln County and much of Eastern Washington including the Upper Columbia Basin and Spokane area.
Hot temperatures with highs between 95-105 degrees are expected. The NWS says high humidity may cause heat-induced illnesses if precautions aren't taken.
The NWS recommends drinking plenty of fluids, staying in air-conditioned rooms, staying out of the sun and checking on relatives and neighbors to make sure they're staying cool.
