Traffic stops: 17

A welfare check was requested in the Grand Coulee area.

A custody issue was reported.

A stolen vehicle was reported at Two Rivers Resort by the Fort Spokane boat launch.

A Davenport woman said she needed to give a statement involving CPS and her two sons’ father.

A Harrington woman said her daughter was drunk and trying to leave her residence with her kids.

A caller reported a truck with an extended cab that was continuously speeding past their residence.

A Davenport man said he saw a suspicious Hispanic male walking down his alley.

A Davenport man reported an abandoned vehicle on Green Canyon Road near Angel Springs.

June 28

Traffic stops: 4

Stevens County Sheriff’s Office transferred a call from a woman who said she got a laceration on her head after hitting a deer with her car on Devil’s Gap.

A caller reported a red pickup truck with the passenger door open and window broken out off the roadway in an undisclosed location.

A young child reported a crash off Oehlwein Road.

A man claimed a business committed a HIPPA violation in 2015.

Trespassing was reported at the R Store in Reardan.

Spokane Tribal Police requested a welfare check.

A man reported an abandoned black Hyundai passenger car on Little Falls about halfway up the hill off Highway 231.

Trespassing was reported in Reardan.

A man alleged his meds were stolen from his back laundry room window.

An Almira man requested a civil standby at his residence to get his air conditioner from his neighbor who wouldn’t give it back to him.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Waukon Road south of Sawyer Road.

A Davenport woman said someone came onto her property and cut down her fence on the 35100 block of North Mill Canyon Road.

A Davenport man said he thought he heard noises and lights outside his house on the 36400 block of North Hart Road.

A group of people were investigated at City Park in Davenport.

June 29

Traffic stops: 4

A Harrington man said his daughter left the house without permission and hadn’t returned.

A Chattaroy woman reported mini horses in the field on the north side of Nutrien Seed on Highway 231.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on her neighbor’s dogs that were left outside in the heat on the 34600 block of North Moore Road.

A 35-year-old woman was found dead on the 300 block of South Green Street. No foul play or drug/alcohol abuse is suspected and an autopsy is being performed, according to authorities.

A Davenport man reported a white male pushing an empty wheelchair back and forth in the area of Eighth and Merriam Streets.

A Lincoln woman reported a shirtless white male standing next to a gray car that appeared to be broken down in the middle of the intersection of Highway 2 and Miles Creston Road.

A Davenport man found his 80-year-old mother dead in his trailer at Stockland Livestock.

An Odessa man reported harassment from another man.

A man wanted his ex-wife charged with custodial interference and recording him without consent.

A Rice man reported a semitruck on its side with flames shooting from the stack.

A hitchhiker about five miles north of Reardan on Highway 231 was reported.

A Davenport man said people were under his trailer shining lights and that all the carpet in his trailer was wet from the air conditioner sweating from the heat.

June 30

Traffic stops: 10

Okanogan County Sheriff reported an alarm going off at the headquarters in Grand Coulee.

Two alarms were reportedly going off at Speed Trap in Reardan.

A 71-year-old female reported feeling chest pain.

An Omak man reported an erratically driven van eastbound on Highway 2 near Janett Road.

A woman said her ex-husband showed up at his rental where he isn’t allowed and took some items.

July 1

Traffic stops: 6

A 46-year-old male reported suffering an anxiety attack.

A possible death was reported.

Suspicious circumstances were reported at City Park in Davenport.

A caller reported a white Toyota southbound on Highway 231 that turned onto Little Falls Road that had an unsecured load of trash that was flying out the back.

A Davenport woman said her son left her house and was walking to his father’s house.

A Sprague man said a suspicious man came to his door with an Amazon package, shoved it in his face, threw a piece of paper on the ground and told him he had been served.

Fireworks were reported.

A Kia was reportedly crossing the center line heading into Davenport on Highway 2.

July 2

Traffic stops: 18

A Kennewick woman said there was a vehicle parked in her driveway with a male inside that was either drunk, sleeping or dead.

A Davenport man said he was trying to get his property cooler.

A boating collision was reported.

A truck was reported making bad passes on Highway 2 at milepost 261.

A wanted person was reported behind Safeway in Highway 2 and was taken into custody.

A caller reported youths shooting off fireworks on Seventh and Washington Streets in Davenport.

A Snohomish man reported a boatload of people having a large campfire on the beach at Hawk Creek.

A person apparently lost their car keys at the park in Odessa.

July 3

Traffic stops: 27

A caller reported people shooting on Bureau of Land Management land.

An Almira woman said her kid wouldn’t return her cars.

Colville Tribal Police requested assistance for a verbal dispute on Moore Beach across from Seven Bays.

A threat was reported in Harrington.

A nuisance was reported.

A Ford man said his friend was bitten by a dog and demanded to be released from the car so she could go to a hospital on Spokane, but they were taking her to Lincoln County Hospital. He said she was out of the car and causing a traffic problem.

A Wilbur man said he saw two men that appeared to hand something to each other suspiciously at the Wonder Mart.

A Wilbur woman said the town had had a lot of crime recently so she was watching her neighbor’s houses, and she noticed a white truck with two occupants that had been driving around town for a while suspiciously.

A Davenport man reported a one-vehicle rollover crash.

An illegal burn was reported at the Keller Ferry campground.

A possible DUI situation was reported just east of the intersection of Whispering Pines Drive and Crescent Road.

Nicholas James Ababurko, 40, Spokane. Arrested by Washington State patrol on a charge of physical control.

Jeffrey Mark Carlton, 40, Sprague. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of driving under the influence.

Dustin Bill Miley, 42, Grand Coulee. Originally arrested by LCSO on a charge of first-degree malicious mischief.

Rebekah Nicole Southard, 26, Odessa. Originally arrested by the Odessa Police Department for first-degree animal cruelty.

Civil proceedings-June 29

In The Glenrose Assocation vs. Spokane County and Spokane Youth Sports Association, in which the plaintiff is appealing a ruling by the county planning department regarding the application of the zoning code to a project contemplated by the sports association, the court heard an argument by the defense that Lincoln County didn’t have local jurisdiction. The plaintiff countered that Lincoln County does. The court will take the arguments under advisement and enter a written opinion. The parties have two weeks to decide how to proceed.

Criminal docket-June 29

Rebekah Nicole Southard was found guilty of one count of first-degree animal cruelty and was sentenced to three months in jail.

Dustin Bill Miley, who is charged with first-degree malicious mischief with damage exceeding $5,000, received a court-appointed attorney. Defendant directed to be booked and released at LCSO. Readiness hearing set for Aug. 24. Jury trial set for Sept. 8.

Juvenile docket-June 29

Namid W. Hansen, who is facing two counts as a juvenile offender, was found in violation of his probation conditions and sent to juvenile detention for 10 days.
