Sept. 12

Traffic stops: 9

An Odessa woman said her power was out and she could hear a prowler outside.

A Reardan woman said a vehicle had been driving around her house and pulling into her driveway and her neighbor’s driveway on the 500 block of North Lake Street since 3 a.m. that morning.

Seven Bays Marina reported an abandoned boat left tied to their launch dock.

A woman said her neighbor’s dog was running loose around her house harassing her daughter, who suffers from panic attacks, and her service dog.

A disabled boat was reported at Fort Spokane.

A Creston man said there were 11 cows on his front lawn he didn’t own. He said this has been a recurring problem on his property on the 39200 block of Halverson Canyon Road North.

A Seven Bays woman called sounding distressed on the 1200 block of Park Avenue.

A Davenport woman said two pit bulls she didn’t know the owner of kept coming onto her property on the 43000 block of Green Canyon Road East.

A Reardan man said the crossing lights on Highway 28 were blinking red with no trains in sight.

A Spokane woman said a white Toyota sedan crossed the center line on Highway 2 and almost caused a head on collision with the woman.

A Davenport man reported a black cow with a red ear tag in the roadway heading south.

An injured elk was reported blocking a roadway.

A Tonasket woman reported two young girls attempting to wave people down with flashlights by a dark station wagon pulled over westbound on Highway 174 at milepost 36.

A Spokane woman said someone on the Northside of Highway 2 was trying to wave someone down.

Sept. 13

Traffic stops: 9

Washington State Patrol reported a car hit a deer on Highway 28 at milepost 98.

An automated message requesting law enforcement response came from Odessa Memorial Hospital.

A false alarm 911 call came to the Sheriff’s Office.

A Davenport woman said a middle-aged man pulled up to her house on the 32400 block of North Highway 25 and asked if he could mow her lawn because he was desperate for money.

A Wilbur man reported a possibly intoxicated man laying on the south side of Highway 21 near mile marker 32.

A Cheney man said he pulled over to check on a disabled vehicle on Highway 2 at milepost 263. The female occupant said her father was on his way from Reardan to help her.

A Davenport man reported a man walking east of Davenport on Highway 2 by Oehlwein Road attempting to wave people down before stomping off into the fields south of the highway.

A Davenport man said his neighbors were having a campfire on the 500 block of Main Street.

A woman speaking erratically and claiming her husband was trying to kill her made a 911 hangup call on the 300 block of Southeast Pope Avenue in Wilbur.

Sept. 14

Traffic stops: 10

A Creston woman said her peacock was murdered in the night. She said she thought the bird was killed by her neighbor’s two dogs.

A caller said her ex-husband was harassing her and wouldn’t leave her property.

A Coulee Dam woman said a red Ford sedan was traveling across lanes.

A Reardan said her kids were yelled at by her neighbor for coming onto his property when they forgot their keys at his house after borrowing his car with permission on the 36300 block of Crescent Road North.

An occupied maroon Ford F-150 was reported parked in the roadway on Kiner Road just inside Lincoln County near Marlin.

Sept. 15

Traffic stops: 9

A caller said she was going through trying times with her common law partner.

A caller reported a suspicious person in a black BMW in a parking lot in Davenport.

A caller said the back door to El Ranchito in Davenport was open and no one was inside.

A Ford man reported an expected death on the 52600 block of Devil’s Gap Road East.

A Davenport woman said her father went into Spokane and hadn’t returned.

A Davenport man reported a black cow in the roadway on Highway 231 just south of Highway 2.

A car was reported in a field south of the intersection of Little Falls Road and Highway 231.

Sept. 16

Traffic stops: 3

A Davenport woman said her future sister-in-law was sending her a lot of Snapchat messages showing a lot of alcohol being consumed without her family doing anything about the situation.

Cows were loose on Highway 231 and Alexander Road East.

A Reardan man reported a fifth-wheel travel trailer that was broken into on the 400 block of North Lake Street.

A possible driver under the influence was reported on Highway 25 just north of Highway 2 with poor lane travel.

A caller reported a car was totaled after hitting and killing a deer on Highway 2 at milepost 229.

Sept. 17

Traffic stops: 17

A one-vehicle rollover crash was reported a mile east of Telford Rest Area.

A caller said two nine-year-old children were riding their dirt bikes around the dirt roads near Teel Hill and Hanson Roads. The caller said she was worried the children would get hit by a car.

A welfare check was requested on a man on the 200 block of Southwest Railroad Avenue in Reardan after no one reportedly heard from that man for a few days.

A caller reported people shooting on BLM land after dark.

Sept. 18

Traffic stops: 7

A courtesy ride was given to a man from the beer garden at Deutschesfest in Odessa.

A Davenport man said he wanted a lot of deputies to respond to his house on the 700 block of Marshall Street so he could show them how various people were stealing from him through welfare fraud and counterfeit billing.

A man said there had been a vehicle parked at the elevator hear his house on Sobek Road in Edwall for three hours.

Poachers were reported in the Bald Ridge area.

Sept. 19

Traffic stops: 8

An Odessa woman said her purse, jacket and cell phone were stolen.

A caller said there were people on the property he was renting.

An Almira woman said two males were circling town in a gold Buick, stopping at the park before repeating the process.

A Spokane Valley man requested a civil standby at the gas station off Highway 2 in Wilbur, where he was going to drop his three children off to their mother.

A Grand Coulee man reported a possible driver under the influence on Highway 2 at milepost 225 with a driver swerving in the wrong lane.

A Spokane Valley woman said her car broken down on Highway 2 four miles west of Wilbur and both tow trucks she called didn’t show up.

Sept. 16

Glorian Rochell Morton, 72, St. John. Originally arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.

Patrick Michael Valverde, 22, Odessa. Arrested by the Odessa Police Department on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Kelsey Janet Wilson, 35, Puyallup. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of reckless driving.

Criminal court-Sept. 16

Brandon Searles, Sprague, fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Found guilty and sentenced to 34 days in jail, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Michael Jake Gatewood, Davenport, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to one day in jail and 12 months supervised probation.

Kelsey Wilson, Puyallup, reckless driving. Told she owes 53 days in jail and directed to stay in jail.

Yvonne Christine Cashman, Port Orchard, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Dustin Dewane Gallas, hometown not listed, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to two days in jail.

Luke Pelham, hometown not listed, making a false statement to a public servant. Sentenced to three days in jail and 12 months supervised probation.

Trey Joseph Ginter, Sprague, fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief. Malicious mischief charge dismissed. Sentenced to 12 days in jail, 80 hours of community service and 24 months supervised probation.

Justin P. Lewandowski, Spokane Valley, driving under the influence amended to reckless driving. Sentenced to one day in jail, one day of electronic home monitoring, a $1,000 fine and 24 months supervised probation.

Glorian R. Morton, Lamont, driving under the influence. Sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Anthony Randazzo, Spokane, allowing an unauthorized person to drive. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.
