ODESSA – Reporting on the Tiger volleyball team has hit some snags in the past two weeks, but we now have details going back to Sept. 21.
Odessa vs. Harrington
On Sept. 21, Odessa faced Harrington at home, winning 3-0, with only the junior varsity playing for the Tigers.

Odessa vs. Mary Walker
Odessa faced off against the Chargers of Mary Walker High School in Springdale on Sept. 23, losing a close match by a score of 2-3.

Emily Scrupps had 15 kills and Ashlyn Neilsen 12 in the Tiger attack. Hayden Schuh led the team in service aces with six. Lily Starkel led in blocking with eight, five of them solos. Laela Hardung led in digs with 12 and received service 34 times. Melloney Deife had 31 assists.
Odessa vs. Valley Christian
Tuesday, Sept. 28, the Tiger girls traveled to Spokane Valley to face Valley Christian High School, getting the win in three straight.

Scrupps again led the Tiger offense with nine kills, while Deife contributed six service aces and 16 assists. Defensively, Deife and Ashlyn Neilsen each had six digs. Odessa vs. Almira-Coulee-Hartline
On Sept. 30, the Tigers battled ACH at home, putting up a good fight but losing 2-3. The teams were closely matched in terms of ability.

Ashlyn Neilsen and Emily Scrupps led the Tiger attack with 12 kills each, and Hayden Schuh added another 10. Neilsen also led in service aces with 7 and Scrupps had 6. Lily Starkel had two blocks. Neilsen had 25 digs and Melloney Deife 23, while Scrupps added 16. Deife led the team in assists with 32. Neilsen received serve 35 times to lead the Tigers.
Odessa vs. Davenport
On Saturday, Oct. 2, the Tigers hosted Davenport in the Odessa gym in a non-conference match (Davenport is a 2B school) that started at noon. The Tigers dominated the Gorillas, 3-0.
