Oct. 11

Traffic stops: 10

Northeast Washington Alliance Counseling in Davenport requested a welfare check on a woman who was hard to understand over the phone.

Johnson Family Towing said they impounded a vehicle over the weekend after the driver was cited for driving on a suspended license.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office asked if Lincoln County had an officer who could meet them at the county line on Harrington-Tokio Road to transport a man who had completed his charges.

An Anacortes woman requested a welfare check on her son’s fiancé who she said hadn’t contacted her since she testified against someone who was sent to prison.

An Almira woman reported a Silver Dodge Ram westbound through Reardan with poor lane travel.

A Davenport man said his neighbors on the 600 block of Maxwell Street moved out four months ago, but the automatic sprinklers were still going off every morning and freezing to the sidewalk as the weather cooled.

A Facebook report came through of youths rolling rocks down a hill toward traffic near the canyon north of Reardan.

A Davenport woman asked for a deputy to go to her neighbor’s house on Miles Road North because there was a woman there refusing to leave.

Traffic stops: 11

Two chainsaws were reported stolen in Reardan.

A caller said his back left tire was flat after a box cutter was stabbed into the tread.

A car crash was reported near Wilbur south of Alderson and Highway 174.

A Davenport woman reported trespassing on the 32500 block of Johns Rocky Way East.

A Reardan man reported a suspicious Subaru Outback filled with trash at the bottom of the hill on Plaster Road just south of Highway 2.

Oct. 13

Traffic stops: 7

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Lincoln Hospital for a COVID-19 test before being shuttled to prison.

A caller reported a small silver Subaru with bad lane travel that turned north on Highway 231 from Reardan.

A Wilbur man reported that a disoriented 60-year-old man crashed into a vehicle.

A Davenport woman said there was an unwanted family member at her father’s house in town.

A caller said his 45-year-old “male child” was intoxicated at his house on the 31700 block of Hume Road East in Davenport.

A caller reported an elderly male walking on Highway 28.

Traffic stops: 12

A woman said she locked her keys in her car.

An abandoned vehicle was reported in the right of way on F and Alder Streets in Sprague.

A Wilbur man said there was a vehicle trespassing on his uncle’s property in Keller Ferry.

A suspicious man in rubber boots was reported in Reardan.

A caller reported a vehicle parked in a driveway with a cable across it.

A Spokane Valley man said someone wire tied his outdoor faucet, and he couldn’t use it anymore. He thought the culprit was his landlord.

A caller reported keys locked in a vehicle outside the new clinic at Lincoln Hospital.

Trespassing was reported at Wonder Mini Mart in Wilbur.

A caller said they accidentally shot themselves in the foot with a gun.

Oct. 15

Traffic stops: 21

A loose dog was reported at the Chevron in Sprague.

An abandoned vehicle was reported off Whitestone Road and Highway 28.

A shirtless male was reported.

A welfare check was reported on a woman living on the 500 block of Harker Street in Davenport.

A caller said his wife had fallen and needed lift assistance.

Fraud was reported in Odessa.

Safeway in Davenport said they had lost items in their safe they wanted to turn into the Sheriff’s Office for safekeeping.

A caller said there were people arguing in the Reardan Clinic parking lot with children present.

Debris was reported in the roadway on Highway 2 at milepost 262.

Theft was reported in Davenport.

A suspicious vehicle was reported off the side of the road and left unattended on the east side of town near Main Street.

Oct. 16

Traffic stops: 5

A caller said she believed there was a huge fire, but no flames were found.

A caller reported a one-vehicle rollover crash.

A caller said trespassers shot a deer on his property.

A man and a woman were reportedly arguing with a child in the backseat at the Sprague rest area westbound on Interstate 90.

A deer was hit by a car at Highway 2- and Seven-Mile Road.

A Harrington woman said a dog knocked her down to the ground on Main Street.

A caller reported a vehicle with a woman passed out inside.

A Creston woman requested a welfare check on her residence, saying she came back from Spokane to her windows unlocked.

Theft was reported in Davenport.

A man reported an SUV southbound on Highway 25 traveling across the lanes.

A vehicle’s parking lights were reportedly left on for 90 minutes on the 1100 block of Fifth Street in Davenport.

Oct. 17

Traffic stops: 6

A Sprague man said he heard a gunshot while he and his wife were having coffee at their residence on the 9100 block of Highway 231 North when they noticed a vehicle that appeared to be spotlight hunting near Snider Road that would be private land.

A caller said she was woken up by a woman crying and screaming for help.

A caller said his 40-year-old son had a cut on his forearm and wasn’t doing well.

Theft was reported in Reardan.

A caller reported two people arguing in a 1980’s Chevy.

A caller requested a deputy presence during a parental exchange at the Conoco in Wilbur.

A disabled vehicle was reported just east of Highway 25.

An expected death was reported on the 500 block of Main Street in Davenport.

A Davenport man reported two cars racing around town that almost ran over a woman with a small child attempting to use the crosswalk near his house on the 400 block of Maxwell Streeet.
