Lonnie LaRae Zundel was an amazing artist... extraordinary in every sense of the word at all forms of quilting, painting, needlework, and homemaking.
She was a devoted wife to Russell Lloyd Zundel. High School sweethearts, she always remained his little "half-pint.” Married in Davenport's First Presbyterian church in 1951, Lonnie and Russell celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary together on June 24, 2021.
A devoted Christian, and very private person, Lonnie was loved as a loyal and true friend by her girlfriends. The cherished daughter of Milton and Ella Hall, she was sister to Bettie Blair, Susie Johnson and Ernest Hall, mother to Rick Zundel and Debby Zundel.
