Christmas Fest returning this year

ODESSA – Christmas Fest returns this year after its Covid-related hiatus in 2020, with between 25 and 30 returning vendors and several new suppliers of handcrafted items. The action begins Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. under the sponsorship of the Odessa Jr. Livestock 4-H Club and its leader Jennifer Lewis.

As in past years, there will be live music on the community center stage all day long, including local talent, school groups, etc. The winners of door prizes will be announced from the stage throughout the day. A visit from Santa is also planned. The commercial kitchen is to be open, with 4-H club members/parents selling burgers, pop and water for most of the day.

This event really serves to kick off the holiday season and provides a local opportunity for shopping and purchasing unique presents for friends and loved ones.
