Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
ODESSA – The team of Kaedin Schorzman, Nathan Melcher and Holden Iverson placed fourth in the state FFA tractor-driving competition and Nathan Melcher placed sixth as an individual Wednesday November 17 in Moses Lake. The 30 teams, composed of more than 80 FFA members from across the state, competed in a timed obstacle course drive, written test and parts-identification contest. They will also be recognized on stage at the Washington State FFA Convention this coming spring. "I couldn't be more proud of these boys," said FFA advisor HaLee Walter.
That same day, Kathryn Finch, Lexi Eden, Troy Hardung, Kaitlyn Durham and Hudson Watson participated in their first potato-judging contest. Walter added, "They had a great time and it was a wonderful learning experience!"
All of the potato and tractor driving Odessa FFA members were Kaitlyn Durham, Hudson Watson, Kathryn Finch, Lexi Eden, Tucker Walter, Troy Hardung, Holden Iverson, Kaedin Schorzman, Nathan Melcher, John Melcher and Rebecca Bramer.
