Spokane Tribe Casino extension opens

AIRWAY HEIGHTS—The Spokane Tribe Casino celebrated the opening of the second phase of expansion, as part of the Spokane Tribe’s Economic Development Plan, Tuesday, November 23 on the newly expanded casino floor.

During the Grand Opening celebration, a statement was made announcing the industry-leading sportsbook partner that will bring its best-in-class sportsbook offering to Spokane Tribe Casino. A traditional tribal blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Spokane Tribal Council will be followed by a formal cake cutting.

More casino amenities come with the phase’s completion, including a brand-new dining option and a much larger non-smoking area. The entire casino floor has doubled in size, expanding the slot offerings with over 300 new games. Also, craps has returned in an expanded table games area.

Future plans include an indoor entertainment venue and a fully developed hotel resort property with employment estimated to reach 2,000 staff members by the end of 2025.

The Spokane Tribe Casino is a casino owned and operated by the Spokane Tribe in Airway Heights, just outside the city of Spokane and in the heart of the Spokane Tribe’s 3,000,000+ acres of ancestral homelands. The Spokane Tribe of Indians has called this area home for centuries, and those centuries carry many traditions and stories tied to the lands, the rivers and the people.

The casino is located on Highway 2 a mile east of the entrance to Fairchild Air Force Base and next to Spoko Fuel. It is the second casino in the Airway Heights area, along with Northern Quest Resort and Casino on Hayford Road.
