ODESSA – The busy season is upon us, with events filling our days once again after so many months of Covid-related caution and social distancing. The Christmas tree lighting at the Old Town Hall was held Nov. 28 and drew a good-sized crowd. Young and old and in between appeared to enjoy the festivities, which included hot drinks, cookies, muffins and candy at no charge to those who attended.
The event generally kicks off the holiday season in Odessa and is followed by Christmas Fest on Dec. 1 and the various holiday gatherings and parties of various businesses, clubs and other groups that fill out the rest of 2021.
