REARDAN—The local boys varsity team made sure the school went 2-for-2 in varsity matches against the Newport Grizzlies in the season opener Tuesday, Nov. 30. Reardan took care of its visitors 67-43.

Reardan won each quarter. After holding a slim 16-13 after one period, Reardan outscored Newport 20-11 in the second quarter to take a convincing 36-24 lead into halftime.

The home team then won the third quarter 13-8 and the fourth quarter 18-11 to pull away for a 24-point victory.
