Local teenager arrested for child assault

DAVENPORT — A local teenager from here was arrested over the weekend and held in jail until an appearance in District Court Monday.

Ethan Robert Mellick, 18, was booked into Lincoln County Jail on Saturday, Dec. 11 on charges of second-degree assault and third-degree assault of a child.

According to police records, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Mule Ranch Road North, 15 miles north of Davenport, when Mellick’s step-father, Louis Reinbold, said he and Mellick got into a fist fight.
