Lenn J. Dompier

Lenn Dompier was born in 1925 in his grandparents’ farmhouse in Mabton,, Wash. in the Yakima Valley. In his early years he helped the family by working on the farm until he graduated from Grandview High School. Lenn served his country in the Navy during WWII, stationed for 19 months in the South Pacific. Following the war, Lenn attended Washington State College, earning a BS in Soil Science in 1950. During his college years he met and married Fran McDonald. Three children came along shortly thereafter and the family eventually settled in Davenport.
