Dec. 6

Traffic stops: 13

A Wyoming man said his landlord duct-taped an eviction notice to his table while he was away for military duty.

A Chattaroy man said he hired an Edwall man to paint his 1977 Oldsmobile, but the man had had the Oldsmobile for over five years and the caller had tried contacting the Edwall man multiple times with no answer.

A commercial alarm was reported going off in Grand Coulee.

A caller said their employee was bitten by a dog.

A caller reported a man waiting for his medicine from the mailman.

A Davenport man said he saw a vehicle doing donuts and fishtailing while nearly hitting parked cars near Fifth and Maxwell Streets.

A Davenport man reported a fire on the 34900 block of Cottonwood Creek Road East.

A caller reported a car stuck on a slick piece of road on Highway 231 at milepost 42.

Dec. 7

Traffic stops: 19

A Mesa man reported a one-vehicle rollover crash on I-90 eastbound at milepost 250.

A Davenport man reported an abandoned vehicle on Highway 2 partially in the road.

A suspicious man was reported at the Almira school.

A Davenport woman reported a black dog with long hair that had been hanging around her residence on the 44300 block of Geraldine Lane North for about two weeks. She said she didn’t know what to do with the dog beside shoot it because she already took in a stray and too many people dump their dogs in the area.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on her neighbor who was standing in the middle of the street smoking a bowl and antagonizing her dog through the fence on the 800 block of Main Street.

A Spokane man reported a maroon SUV that almost forced him off the roadway northbound on Highway 25.

A Sprague man said he loaned a car to a woman in October and she hadn’t returned it.

A Davenport man said he was following a police vehicle with overhead lights westbound from Airway Heights with poor lane travel swerving across the roadway.

A Poulsbo woman reported a car crash but provided fuzzy details due to foggy conditions.

An Enumclaw man said his car broke down just south of the bridge over the Spokane River on Highway 25 at the Stevens County line.

A caller said she hit a deer on Highway 23 at milepost 51.

A Seven Bays man requested a welfare check on his wife on the 300 block of Airport Way.

Dec. 8

Traffic stops: 13

A caller said she was flagged down by some concerned citizens who noticed a vehicle broken down on Highway 2 near milepost 253.

A Sprague woman said someone stole her dog account number which allows her to register her purebred dogs.

A Davenport man said his neighbor’s dog keeps coming onto his property on the 37800 block of Cayuse Cove Road North and has killed all his chickens.

A Spokane Valley man said his girlfriend backed her Jeep into his pickup truck and was refusing to give him her insurance information.

A Wilbur man reported a vehicle pulling a silver car on a trailer with no trailer lights on.

A Spokane woman said she was trying to evict squatters from a property she owns on the 36700 block of Skyvist Lane.

A local journalist reported a woman dressed poorly for weather conditions walking down Highway 2 near the Highway 231 turn-off.

A Davenport woman reported a pickup truck violating traffic laws westbound on Highway 28 from milepost 112.

Dec. 9

Traffic stops: 8

A Coulee Dam woman reported a gray car violating traffic laws.

A Reardan man reported a red sedan with no visible license plates.

ADT Tyco Alarms reported a back sliding door alarm going off at a local residence.

A Davenport woman reported a young female hitchhiking in town.

A commercial alarm was reported going off at Buddy Boy Farms in northeast Lincoln County.

A worker at Safeway in Davenport said a man was down on the ground in the store and couldn’t get up, and the worker couldn’t tell if he was intoxicated or having a medical emergency.

A caller said he believed his neighbors were videotaping his property.

Dec. 10

Traffic stops: 6

A caller reported that her son and his girlfriend were having mental issues.

A Davenport woman reported a vehicle lockout.

Drugs were found in an undisclosed location.

A caller said she couldn’t get into her house because an unwanted man was inside taking her stuff.

A Reardan man said his car was stolen from the 100 block of South Oak Street.

A caller reported an unresponsive 55-year-old man with a bloody nose.

A local woman said she hadn’t heard from her friend since her friend had surgery in Spokane that day.

Dec. 11

Traffic stops: 19

A caller said their neighbor was constantly bringing their trash onto their property.

A Harrington woman said people walked up to her and asked her to watch their kids and wouldn’t leave her house on the 300 block of South First Street.

A caller reported a black bull loose on Highway 2 near Fictenberg Road.

A Coeur d’Alene woman demanded that her family be called and sent to her immediately to rescue her.

Assault was reported in the Davenport area.

A caller reported a car parked in the alleyway near his house.

A caller reported a brown cow walking down the middle of Highway 2 near milepost 238.

A herd of cows were reported about 100 yards off Highway 2 at Sam Knack Road.

A caller said her boyfriend was missing.

A caller said she was locked out of her car.

A caller said a car turned south across from U.S. Bank into Reardan back into town.

Illegal dumping was reported in Reardan.

A caller reported smoke coming out of a basement.

Shash Sky Talancon, 42, Davenport. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of first-degree unlawful firearm possession, second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault.

Dec. 8

Douglas Dean Dunston, 41, Richland. Arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.

Dec. 10

Amanda Lynn Dinwiddie, 29, Davenport. Originally arrested by LCSO on a charge of reckless driving.

Criminal docket-Dec. 7

Brandy J. Hood, who is charged with second-degree assault, harassment with the threat to kill or cause bodily injury and fourth-degree assault, said she wasn’t satisfied with her defense counsel and asked that a public defender be substituted as her attorney. The current defense counsel hasn’t made a motion to withdraw, so the court ordered the parties to appear Dec. 14.

Dustin Bill Miley, who is charged with first-degree malicious mischief, was in quarantine and has a resolution approaching in District Court.

Mary A. McNeeley, who is charged with third-degree assault of a child, will have her case resolved in District Court.

Caden Marcus Maxwell, who is charged with failure to register as a first-degree sex offender, is hoping to have his matter resolved in District Court. A readiness hearing was set for Jan. 11 and a jury trial was set for Feb. 2.
