Jan. 10
Traffic stops: 4
A Fruitland woman requested a welfare check on her son in Creston.
A violation of an order was reported in Odessa.
A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported in an undisclosed location.
A caller reported a car with spinning tires and five passengers yelling inside.
A horse trailer vs. small car non-injury crash was reported near Wilbur.
A caller said the father of her child that she was living with wouldn’t leave her house and she didn’t want to leave Spokane until he did.
A welfare check was requested on a woman living on the 28200 block of Wild Rose Lane in Davenport after the caller noticed the woman had a black eye.
A Davenport woman said she heard what sounded like three gunshots near the intersection of First and Marshall Streets while she was walking her dogs.
A caller said his ex-girlfriend was trying to break into a residence on the 36000 block of Highway 231 North.
A Davenport woman said her neighbor had left his dog outside without shelter at his Merriam Street address.

The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office said they received a report of a man walking and carrying a sword on Highway 174 near milepost 26.
A Reardan woman said her ex-husband violated their temporary protection order by calling her and texting her.
An Odessa woman said she found out that her ex-husband was leaving their kids with a babysitter and going out of state when he was supposed to be watching the kids.
Three suspicious calls came from a Main Street address in Wilbur.
A 911 hangup call came from a residence on the 46800 block of Highway 2 East.
Washington State Patrol reported a utility trailer detached from a bright red truck blocking the northbound lane in an undisclosed location.
A caller reported a Camry swerving across lanes while traveling eastbound on Highway 2 near milepost 252.
A Schwan’s truck broke down in an undisclosed location.
A caller said the same woman who was trying to break into a residence on the 36000 block of Highway 231 North the previous day was back trying to break into a camper and had hidden in the woods since the day before.

A Davenport woman said a man was trying to take her child from her.
A caller said they were surrounded by four dogs and bitten by a German Shepherd when they were let into a trailer at an undisclosed location by a woman.
A Wilbur man said someone was in his residence on the 500 block of Southeast Regent Avenue.
Town Hall in Odessa said they found damage at the local cemetery while preparing for a funeral.
A caller said she locked her keys in her car in front of the laundromat in Davenport.
A caller said surveyers from Moses Lake were trespassing on her property.

A disabled vehicle was reported in a field by the Davenport airport.
A Sprague man reported an abandoned car on his construction site.
A caller said her father was missing from their residence on the 100 block of West Fourth Street in Harrington.
Multiple callers reported a car driving just 10 mph west on Highway 2 just east of Davenport.
A caller said a semitruck came off Highway 231 and went through his fence into his field.

An Edwall woman said her brother stole a wallet from someone in her house on Sobek Road East and took money from the wallet before someone else stole the money back.
A one-vehicle rollover crash was reported in an undisclosed location.
An Odessa woman said she heard people arguing near her residence on the 4400 block of Highway 21 North.
A Spokane Valley man requested a civil standby at the Wilbur Conoco since he and his ex-wife had been having issues with child exchanges.
A caller said a semitruck ran out of antifreeze on Highway 174 at milepost 34.

An injured elk was reported on Highway 25 at milepost 8.
A commercial burglary alarm was reported going off at Buddy Boy Farms on the 38200 block of Angel’s Landing Road in Ford.
A Davenport man reported a car crash at Hawk Creek and Whitney Roads.
A 64-year-old woman said she fell.
A caller reported a possible driver under the influence driving south on Highway 21 near the Wilbur Golf Course.
A caller complained about fireworks going off near their house.

A caller reported a Davenport man having mental health issues at his mother’s house on the 700 block of Marshall Street.
A Spokane man said a white minivan passed five cars eastbound on Highway 174 and nearly caused a head-on crash due to a lack of visibility created by fog.
A Greenacres woman said her ex-boyfriend locked their puppy in their bedroom while he was gone at work.
A Reardan man said his neighbor kept tearing up his road on the 35800 block of Highway 231 North.
A Davenport man said a red Ford pickup truck had been crossing the center line of traffic since Deep Creek on Highway 2.
A caller said a car was circling around his vehicle on Washington and Sixth Streets in Davenport.
A caller reported a car off the roadway in a ditch that was hard to see due to heavy fog.

Claudia Alexis Birdtail, 25, Spokane. Arrested by Kalispel Tribal Police on charges of third-degree theft and making false statements to police.
Jan. 11
Ilene Marie Storms, 37, Ford. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of harassment with previous conviction, residential burglary and possessing burglary tools.
Jorge Reyes Morales, 29, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on charges of first-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked, driving under the influence and an ignition interlock violation.
Jan. 12
Marlie Lyman Rose, 32, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of possessing a dangerous weapon.
Jan. 14
Timothy Richard Bordwell, 33, Edwall. Arrested by LCSO on charges of fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and failure to comply.
Amanda Lynn Dinwiddie, 29, Davenport. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of reckless driving.
Brandy Jo Hood, 39, Spokane Valley. LCSC remand.
David James Palmieri, 32, Medical Lake. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.
SUPERIOR COURT
Criminal docket-Jan. 11-12
A jury found Brandy J. Hood guilty on four counts of fourth-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and one count of harassment with the threat to kill stemming from a Jan. 2020 incident in Reardan. Hood is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 25.
Christopher D. Holverson was found guilty of three counts of second-degree burglary and one count of theft of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to 29.75 months in prison.
James Michael Cunningham, who is charged with first-degree reckless burning, had his trial continued to March 1.
Loren Randall Bolsoy, who is charged with second-degree rape and harassment with the threat to kill or cause bodily injury, had his release conditions amended to require random vulnerability assessment testing. A readiness hearing was set for Feb. 22 and a jury trial was set for March 16.
Timothy Lee Morton, who is charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree theft, had his hearing continued to Feb. 1 after he underwent a medical procedure.
Kendra Marie Tonasket, who is charged with second-degree identity theft, had her hearing continued to March 1.
Gregory Wayne Devin, who is charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, plans to retain private counsel. A readiness hearing was set for March 22 and a jury trial was set for April 13.
Shash Sky Talancon, who is charged with second-degree assault with substantial bodily harm, had his hearing continued to Feb. 22.
Cody James Magruder, who is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, first-degree theft, two counts of second-degree vehicle prowling and second-degree malicious mischief, had his hearing continued to March 1. A jury trial was set for March 23.
Cody Phillip Gould of Ford, who is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, third-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked and conceal carrying a pistol with no license, entered a not-guilty plea. Gould posted $5,000 bail. A readiness hearing was set for Feb. 1 and a jury trial was set for Feb. 23.
Rondel Layne Krauter of Sprague, who is charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm with a previous conviction, entered a not-guilty plea and plans to attempt to retain private counsel. A readiness hearing was set for March 1 and a jury trial was set for March 23.
Bruce Paul Havens, who is charged with second-degree burglary, posted $15,000 bail. A readiness hearing was set for March 22 and a jury trial was set for April 13.

Black Horse Properties LLC filed a complaint seeking payment of damages, statutory treble damages, costs and attorneys’ fees and declaratory and equitable relief against William, Marlena, Alex and Brenda Guhlke and Lazy S. Ranch LLC for alleged property damages suffered in Spring 2021.
