Jan. 17

Traffic stops: 3

A caller reported a small black car driving on the wrong side of Highway 2 westbound from Davenport.

A caller said her mother was being scammed by a man claiming she won a clearing house prize.

A Deer Park man said a driver in a white pickup truck was driving around his property and took his game camera down.

A Davenport man said his daughter ran away. He believed she may have gone to Airway Heights with friends.

A Davenport man said his backpack filled with weed and cookies worth about $1,000 was stolen out of his house on the 32200 block of Mill Canyon Road North.

Jan. 18

Traffic stops: 5

U.S. Bank headquarters said a commercial alarm went off at the location in Davenport.

A Lincoln woman asked for deputy assistance installing her car seat correctly before she went into labor.

A man said he and his caretaker let a homeless man live in a trailer on his property before finding out the man had had issues with the Sheriff’s Office before.

Two Lincoln County Jail inmates were transported to Lincoln Hospital for a rapid COVID-19 test before entering a prison shuttle.

An Odessa man said someone tried to break into his house on South Sixth Street.

An Edwall man said a woman kept coming onto his property on the 15900 block of Appel Road North, using his electricity and littering.

A Davenport man said his neighbor’s dog was left outside for over four hours with no food or water on Merriam Street.

A Davenport woman said she locked her keys in her car at Some Like It Hot Espresso.

Traffic stops: 25

Davenport City Hall staff reported a possible code violation with abandoned vehicles in an alleyway.

A caller said an abandoned vehicle had been on his property for three years and he wanted it removed.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in Reardan.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to prison in Spokane County.

A Davenport woman said a blue 1970’s pickup was blocking the roadway near the intersection of Eighth and Main Streets.

A Davenport woman said she heard a gunshot on Maxwell Street.

Jan. 20

Traffic stops: 0

Johnson Family Towing in Harrington said they got a report of a traffic crash.

Several open air 911 calls came from near the railroad tracks near the intersection of Highway 28 and Coal Coulee Road.

A domestic family issue was reported in Reardan.

A one-vehicle slide off crash was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 239.

A caller said an Edwall man had a lost red heifer out on Highway 231 and Highway 23.

A Clarkston woman said she was attempting to repossess a trailer at the park in Sprague, but the occupants were refusing to turn the trailer over.

A Davenport woman reported an unoccupied vehicle that appeared to have smoke coming out of its hood.

A caller reported a semi truck tailgating cars eastbound on Highway 2 at milepost 227.

Jan. 21

Traffic stops: 10

A 911 call came from Reardan with no one on the other line.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 25 at milepost 1.

A Deer Park man said his friend was being taken advantage of by his caregivers.

Spokane Police asked for a deputy to check on a man possibly in Lincoln County with a warrant out for his arrest on an assault charge.

Drugs were found on Highway 28 at milepost 126.

A worker at Sandy’s in Wilbur said a man was coming in and out of the store, while another customer told him the man tried to break into their car.

A caller said someone was spotlighting on his property.

A vehicle pulling a trailer with a flat tire was reported.

A caller reported a possible court order violation.

A Davenport woman reported a confined animal.

Jan. 23

Traffic stops: 5

A caller reported a husband choking his wife.

A two-vehicle crash was reported near Lake Roosevelt.

An unattended fire was reported at Fort Spokane.

An Edwall man reported a suspicious person near his property on Appel Road.

A caller requested a welfare check on her son in Almira.

A welfare check was required on a woman in Odessa.

Jan. 18

Michael Scott Maloney, 34, Harrington. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of second-degree rape.

Jan. 19

Merle Cy Picard, 24, Grand Coulee. Court commitment.

Jan. 20

Craig Allen Casteel, 39, Lake Stevens. Arrested by LCSO on charges of second-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked and an ignition interlock violation.

Jan. 23

Annie Ellen Hansen, 67, Creston. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Mack Jonathon Miessner, 46, Bozeman. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of unlawful issuance of a bank check.
