First semester honor roll

ODESSA – The first-semester honor roll has been released by the Odessa School District for both high school and junior-high students. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 to be on the honor roll. Honorable mention requires a GPA of 3.25 to 3.49.

High school

Members of the senior class who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA were Nathan Carstensen, Drew Hardung, Alyssa McKinney, Emily Scrupps and Paul Sheldon. Also listed on the honor roll are Chloe Winkler, Emma Schmidt, Hayden Miller, Daeton Deife, Nathan Melcher, Kaedin Schorzman and Tori Schlomer.

Juniors who achieved a 4.0 GPA during first semester are Yvette Davey, Maria Garcia, Zane Hamper-Rosman, Collin Martin, Grace Nelson and Kaytlyn Shafer. They are joined on the honor roll by Ashlyn Neilsen, Trenidee Zyph, Joshua Valverde, Gage Starkel and Ella Caler.

In the sophomore class, Zachary Claassen, Austin Read, Hayden Schuh, Jacob Scrupps and Destiny Wiles all had a 4.0 GPA. Joining them on the honor roll are Melloney Deife, Dakota Steward, Jared Valverde, David Strode and Chad Strebeck. Sophomores receiving honorable mention are Koren Hale and Christian Anderson.

Freshmen achieving a perfect 4.0 are Levi Hardung, Holden Iverson and Viet Tran. Also on the honor roll are Corbyn Neilsen, Reegan Carstensen Sean Widger, Kathryn Burnette, Lily Starkel, Casen Watson and Mackenzie Lutz. Fellow freshman Bo Walter received honorable mention.

Junior high

Eighth-graders achieving a 4.0 are John Melcher, Kieu Tran and Hudson Watson. Also on the honor roll are Rebecca Bramer, Kaitlyn Durham, Troy Hardung, Aiden Schmierer, Devin Nelson and Angeline Phillips. Honorable mention goes also to Alexis Eden, Leland Geary, Madelyn Hawley, Marayah Houck and Jose Zaragoza-Trujillo.

Seventh-graders Leah Beth Claassen and Leah Iverson achieved a 4.0, with Jordyn Lewis, Hadyn Reynolds, Izaak Schmierer, Piper Thiede and Oceanna Reeves also listed on the honor roll. Receiving honorable mention are Katherine Shelton, Sawyer Walter and Sidalee Skipper.
