Ag shop receives $56,700 grant

Odessa – February 12, 2022- Odessa School District Ag Shop is pleased to announce receiving a grant from Washington State FFA Foundation for $56,700. Proceed will go towards the implementation and advancement of the CASE AFNR (Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources) and CASE APT (Agriculture Power Technology) Curriculum.

"I am excited to start purchasing necessary supplies to start the full implementation of CASE APT and advancement of CASE AFNR.

This hands-on, science-rich curriculum has been and will be a great asset to our students," HaLee Walter.

Washington FFA Foundation has an allocation through the state capital budget available to administer and fund CASE-approved equipment and technology grants. Grants are available to CASE-certified teachers who currently teach or will be teaching CASE courses. School districts are awarded partial or full grants to be used for the purchase of such equipment.
