High school goes through two-day modified lockout in response
REARDAN—A 17-year-old boy making online threats against the high school here forced the school district to go into a modified lockout Monday and Tuesday.
The suspect was apprehended in Spokane County Tuesday, according to a press release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Reardan School District chief security officer Brian Scott, two students came forward Friday, March 17 to report a threat against the high school being made via social media app Snapchat.
“Count the last days, because I’m coming 4 you, Reardan High School,” the threat read.
