Odessa hospital no longer providing COVID-19 vaccine

ODESSA – Odessa Memorial Hospital Clinic Manager Jace Angelly announced March 24 that the facility is no longer providing COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots.

The announcement came during a hospital board meeting.

The curtailment means residents wanting a COVID shot will have to travel to Davenport or elsewhere, Angelly said.

The move comes as the area has seen a significant drop in the number of cases, Angelly said at the meeting, noting no new cases were reported for three days.
