April 4

Traffic stops: 22

A man said his boat was tied up on the shore of Lake Roosevelt and drifted away in the windstorm.

A caller said someone stole one of his gates around April 1.

A caller said her boyfriend was possibly on drugs, as he was threatening to leave work and come beat her.

A caller reported a man making threats at a residence.

An Almira man said someone cut down trees on his second property on Hawk Creek Ranch Road and was possibly going to steal them.

A protection order was issued restraining a Sprague man from a local woman.

A caller reported two suspicious vehicles on the side of the road at Davis and Graedel Roads southwest of Odessa.

A caller reported two cows running south on Hawk Creek Road.

April 5

Traffic stops: 5

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off.

A suspicious vehicle driving away from some mailboxes was reported on the 5000 block off Highway 23 near milepost 23.

A Davenport man reported a semitruck with a driver not paying attention.

A caller said a car blew an oil drain plug.

A Davenport woman said her neighbor’s big black dog was out again on the 900 block of 14th Street.

A Grand Coulee man reported a man stealing wire from a trailer in the Lakeview Terrace trailer park.

A Davenport woman said she was scammed after a man claiming to work for Microsoft called her and said her computer had been detected looking at child pornography.

An expected death was reported.

April 6

Traffic stops: 15

An Almira man said a car had been blocking Fifth Street for three days.

A caller said someone stole an emissions filter near Sprague.

A Spokane woman called to inform that her ex-boyfriend was staying somewhere in Lincoln County.

A caller reported a man walking down a roadway with a key fob possibly connected to a vehicle that had been towed on Old Coulee Road north of Almira.

A Davenport man requested a hulk slip on his property for a pickup truck with no resale value.

A woman reported a possible driver under the influence near Chevron in Sprague.

A caller reported a car rolled over with the driver uninjured.

A possible burglary was reported in Reardan.

April 7

Traffic stops: 6

A caller said two men tried to steal her dogs out of her yard by pulling them over the fence at her residence on the 47200 block of Sprague Highway Road.

A Wilbur woman said someone tried to cut the lock off her storage unit.

A caller said he wanted to file a police report against a man who allegedly backed into the caller’s truck in January and did damage to the front end while breaking out the back window.

A caller reported a residential burglary alarm going off on the 500 block of Park Street in Davenport.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 231 at milepost 36.

April 8

Traffic stops: 5

A Sprague man reported a suspicious vehicle going around his home on the 300 block of West First Street.

A caller said the door to the Waukon Grange was open and blowing in the wind.

A caller said a child ran away from his mother in Odessa.

A Graham man said his pickup truck was broken down on the side of Highway 231 partially blocking the roadway.

A Harrington man requested deputy assistance with a broken water line inside of a residence. The man, who works for the city, said he knocked on the door of the residence to no response with water coming from inside of the house and the ceiling caved in.

A medical issue was reported on the 300 block of East Columbia Avenue in Reardan.

A possible brush fire was reported on the 40800 block of Scenic Drive North in Seven Bays.

A suspicious phone call came from a dead line at an unknown residence in Reardan.

April 9

Traffic stops: 13

A caller reported a disabled vehicle, but it turned out the driver was taking pictures of hawks in trees.

A Lincoln woman reported a possible driver under the influence eastbound on Highway 2 from the Inland Northwest Rail Museum.

A disabled truck that lost power was reported at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 21.

A Brewster caller said their company repossessed a black GMC Yukon registered to a Soap Lake man.

A Davenport woman reported a possible driver under the influence pulling over at Colville’s Garage in Reardan.

April 10

Traffic stops: 0

A Davenport man reported three kids at the local skate park brandishing what “he hoped was an airsoft gun for God and everyone to see” and said he didn’t feel that was right in today’s times.

A Harrington man said someone shot his dog twice and killed it just north of his house on the 33100 block of Highway 28.

A Davenport man said various items and been moved around, and his smoker had items removed from and added to it while he was away from his residence on the 46700 block of Sunset Highway East.

Jesus Alberto Castaneda, 27, Grand Coulee. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of residential burglary.

Shyniah M. Dogskin, 19, Grand Coulee. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of theft.

Jeffrey Dean Walters, 42, Spokane. Departments of Corrections detainer.

April 6

Trevor Gerald Peone, 28, Davenport. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

April 7

Andrew Christopher Nilles, 39, Spokane. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of fourth-degree assault, third-degree malicious mischief and first-degree burglary.

April 8

Dixie Val Kane, 40, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of reckless driving.

Criminal docket-April 5

Lacynda Rae McGill, who is charged with second-degree taking a vehicle without permission, entered a not-guilty plea and had bail lowered to $2,500. A readiness hearing was set for May 10 and a jury trial was set for June 1.

Joel Terry Bourne, who is charged with residential burglary, had his case continued to May 17.

Cassandra Lee Graves, who is charged with second-degree theft, making or having a burglary tool and possession of another person’s I.D., failed to appear for an arraignment and is currently in Okanogan County Jail. A warrant was issued for her arrest with bail set at $12,000.
