Reardan boys finish second, girls third
The race for second place in the boys 400 meters came down to Davenport's Trevor Lenocker (right) and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague's Shawn Steinberger (left) diving across the finish line. Lenocker held off Steinberger by 0.06 seconds to take second place in the eventTuesday, April 19.
DAVENPORT-Don't get too confused: The track meet was here, but it was hosted by Reardan. In any case, the Gorillas had a fine day in the windy conditions, with both boys and girls teams getting first place finishes in the District 7 2B North League Meet Tuesday, April 19.
The Reardan boys finished in second place and the girls finished third. Five schools participated in the meet, including Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, Northwest Christian (Colbert) and St. George's.
The Davenport boys had 222 points to second-place Reardan's 130 points. St. George's finished with 121, LRS with 71 and NWC with 24.
