Incoming Miss Reardan-Edwall Colleen Ellis (left) was crowned in a surprise ceremony with outgoing Miss Reardan-Edwall Emma Wiedmer (right) on Easter Sunday.
REARDAN--Colleen Ellis received the Miss Reardan-Edwall crown from the former Queen Emma Wiedmer at a surprise ceremony following Easter Sunday services at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Reardan April 17.
Ellis may be the new ambassador for Reardan, but she has already been representing her hometown by playing flute in the local high school marching and pep band since middle school, playing on Reardan softball teams since kindergarten and achieving academically through being an honor roll student.
She said it is important to have Reardan represented at the various Lincoln County parades in return...
