Reardan teams finish first at sub-districts

Qualifiers head to district champs in Liberty Lake

RITZVILLE-Reardan was well-represented at the NE2B South Division track and field championships. Both the boys and girls teams finished in first place in the meet that included competitors from Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, Asotin, Liberty and Colfax.

The girls had 138 points, while second-place Colfax had 123 points. The boys had 160 points to second-place Colfax's 137.

Individually, the top four competitors in all laned events and the top six competitors in field and mile-plus events qualified for the district championships May 20-21 at Ridgeline High School in Liberty Lake. There, athletes will compete to qualify for the state championships the following week.

Reardan will be participating in bulk at the district championships.
