Qualifiers head to district champs in Liberty Lake
Reardan freshman Jakari Singleton surges ahead of the pack to win the boys 110m hurdles at the NE2B South Division Championships in Ritzville Tuesday, May 10. Singleton and Tristo McCrea will both represent their school in the event at the district championships.
RITZVILLE-Reardan was well-represented at the NE2B South Division track and field championships. Both the boys and girls teams finished in first place in the meet that included competitors from Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, Asotin, Liberty and Colfax.
The girls had 138 points, while second-place Colfax had 123 points. The boys had 160 points to second-place Colfax's 137.
Individually, the top four competitors in all laned events and the top six competitors in field and mile-plus events qualified for the district championships May 20-21 at Ridgeline High School in Liberty Lake. There, athletes will c...
