Ardell Boleneus

Ardell Boleneus passed away May 14, 2022 at her home in Spokane, WA. She was born April 27, 1940 in Colville, WA to Jess and Clara Denison and was one of eleven children.

Ardell grew up on the West End of the Spokane Indian Reservation and later married Mark Beardslee and they had three daughters Brenda, Glenda and Renda.

Mark passed away in 1985. Ardell married Deral Boleneus in June of 1991 at their home north of Reardan, WA and their blended family grew to 5 with Deral’s children Jenny and Pete.

Ardell was a very outgoing lady who loved people and children. She is a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians. Ardell enjoyed helping Habitat for Humanities, Shrine Hospital for Children and St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.

Ardell is survived by five children Brenda (Bill) Kovach, Glenda (Don) Dashiell, Renda (Paul) Bashear, Jenny Wagner and Pete (Mary) Boleneus along with 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her two brothers Phillip and Danny Denison and her two sisters Altha Flett and Sharon Yeager along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the West End Community Center with burial at the West End Assembly of God Cemetery with Pastor Ed Dashiell officiating both services.

Memorials may be made to the Shrine Hospital for Children or to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
