June 13

Traffic stops: 0

An expected death was reported on the 100 block of Eighth Street in Davenport.

A caller reported he had been scammed.

An Edwall man reported a suspicious vehicle.

Lincoln County District Court requested deputy assistance with a troublesome subject at a hearing.

A caller reported a very emotional man behind Sandy’s in Wilbur.

A Davenport woman said her daughter abandoned a car in front of her house.

A woman requested a welfare check on a resident on the 44100 block of Miles Road North, saying the woman who lives there was walking in a road appearing intoxicated.

A caller said her 16-year-old granddaughter ran away to Creston from their residence in Hunters.

An escort was requested for a judge from Superior Court to District Court.

A Davenport woman said she found an old drug lab buried on her property on the 31800 block of Mill Canyon Road North.

A caller said a man was en route to Lincoln Hospital down Highway 25 from Stevens County due to suffering chest pains after hitting a deer.

June 14

A woman said her neighbor at Lakeview Terrace in Grand Coulee was making a “horrible racket” and scavenging abandoned trailers in the park.

A caller reported a Dodge pickup truck speeding and crossing lanes southbound on Highway 174 at milepost 34.

An Odessa man said he hit a metal chair in a roadway.

A caller said someone locked their keys in their car in front of the Sheriff’s Office.

A Davenport man requested deputy response to Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport.

A caller said her husband passed away, and in the confusion, an associate of hers got into her husband’s Jeep and took it without permission.

June 15

Traffic stops: 8

Two inmates were transported from Airway Heights Corrections Center to Lincoln County Jail.

A caller said her neighbor was making a racket again.

Spokane County reported that they had a man in custody on a Lincoln County felony warrant.

A caller said a kayak was found in Porcupine Bay with a lifejacket inside.

A caller reported a found German shepherd.

A Reardan man reported an incessant barking dog.

A Wilbur woman reported a stray dog hanging around Doxie’s Diner that recently had puppies.

A Harrington man requested extra patrols on Coal Coulee Road between Harrington and Mohler.

A Davenport man said two tiny children were riding bikes on Old Sunset Highway and Level Road, which he felt was unsafe due to extra traffic on the road caused by Highway 2 construction.

A car crash was reported near Lake Roosevelt.

June 16

Traffic stops: 4

A caller reported a car partially blocking Hawk Creek and Hawk Creek Ranch Roads.

A woman said she was in a noninjury three-car crash on Highway 2.

Davenport City Hall staff requested a registration check on a car parked at the Davenport Water Park.

A caller reported a large dog running down the middle of a road causing mischief.

A caller reported an erratically driven vehicle on Highway 2 at milepost 225.

A Wilbur man reported a man panhandling for fuel.

A storage alarm was reported going off in the basement of Superior Court.

A Creston woman reported a 75-year-old man having heart issues.

A 75-year-old female said she suffered a short fall in Odessa.

A caller said they saw youths inside an Odessa house they weren’t supposed to be in.

June 17

Traffic stops: 14

A caller said she was at an emergency vet clinic in Spokane because her cat was shot.

A report came in stating one of the shop doors was open at Davenport High School.

A Chewelah woman said she saw two men fighting at the pickleball court in Wilbur.

A caller said she needed help on the 500 block of Main Street in Davenport due to a possible drug overdose, then said to disregard the call because it wasn’t an emergency.

An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 300 block of North Aspen Street.

June 18

Traffic stops: 31

A caller said she was threatened by her children’s father when they did a child exchange.

A driver under the influence was reported.

A caller reported a transient man at the Chevron in Sprague who wanted a ride to Seattle and claimed he was robbed on I-90 the previous night.

A caller reported fighting in a campground near Lake Roosevelt.

An Odessa caller reported a power line down on the 400 block of South Fourth Street.

An entry motion alarm was reported going off at Les Schwab in Davenport.

JAIL BOOKINGS

June 13

Damon Joseph Ashe, 39, Deer Park. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of second-degree identity theft, an ignition interlock violation, driving with a license suspended or revoked, making false statements and failure to comply.

June 15

Timothy Richard Bordwell, 33, hometown not listed. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of assault.

Scotty Duane Maiden, 31, Airway Heights. Department of Corrections detainer.

Nicholas Robert Nilles, 26, Airway Heights. Arrested by LCSO on charges of driving without identification and third-degree identity theft.

June 18

Terri Ann Phay, 58, Prosser. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

Criminal docket-June 14

Michelle L. Hopkins, who is charged with 25 counts of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first and second degree, still has a trial start date of June 29. The court denied a motion in limine but may make a ruling regarding diminished capacity at trial.

Kody Marshall Scott was convicted of second-degree possession of stolen property and was sentenced to 22 months in prison concurrent with a current sentence out of Okanogan County.

Damon Joseph Ashe was convicted of second-degree identity theft and was sentenced to 14 months in prison and 12 months community custody.

Conrad Conn Herrera, who is charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree theft, had a bench trial set for July 6. District Court Judge Dan B. Johnson will preside.

Austin A. Anderson, who is charged with third-degree child molestation, will have his case resolved in District Court.

Benjamin R. Billey, who is charged with second-degree burglary, waived his right to a speedy trial. A readiness hearing was set for Aug. 23 and a jury trial was set for Sept. 14.

Ryan Anthony Steele, who is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for July 12 and a jury trial was set for Aug. 4. Bail was set at $20,000.
