Stuart "Karl" Moldrem Jr. was born June 28, 1957, in Seattle to Anne and Stuart Moldrem. He passed peacefully with loved ones by his side on July 15, 2022.
Karl grew up in Madison Park. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed exploring the wilderness of Wash., and attended many Seattle sporting events. He Graduated from Ingrahm High School in 1975. Karl attended Washington State University and received a bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Business Management. He managed country clubs in Sammamish, Wenatchee, and Portland. Karl also worked as a youth minister in Wenatchee.
After relocating in Davenport to raise their sons, Karl worked at Prevention Concepts. His true passion in life was his volunteerism. Karl volunteered for Clark County District 9 Fire and Rescue, Davenport Fire Department, and Davenport Ambulance. Whether it was coaching youth sports, Boy Scouts, church groups, or Little League baseball, Karl was the first to offer his time.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Carolyn Moldrem, sons David (Brittney) and Daniel (Sophie), mother Anne, sister Lisa, and many dear friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Stuart.
An inurnment will take place at 9 am on the morning of August 19th at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S Pines, Spokane Valley, followed by a celebration of life at 11 am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 Schafer Rd, Spokane Valley.
