Sept. 5

Traffic stops: 21

A caller reported a fire burning south of Highway 2 near Anderson Road in the Almira area.

A caller said she needed to go to the hospital because something was coming out of her skin.

A caller reported a black pickup truck blocking the road at Cassaro and Riffe Roads outside Reardan.

A Sprague man said a man and woman were sitting at the gas station in Reardan out of gas and needing help getting the woman to the hospital due to ulcer problems.

A Harrington woman said someone was driving recklessly on Knack Road near Rocklyn and spinning out on the gravel roadway into the grassy areas.

A Colfax woman said a man tried to make advances on her at the R Store in Reardan.

A caller said a silver pickup truck hit the berm in front of her house and rolled onto its wheels.

A Davenport woman said her husband was contacted by people saying they needed $700 to get to Montana and could give them gold jewelry in return.

A Sprague man said a suspicious woman came to his house on the 500 block of West Third Street claiming to be with the Census Bureau.

A caller said her brother and his husband went onto Lake Roosevelt from Seven Bays and were missing.

A Sprague man said his son and friend were roughhousing with two people at the Chevron in town.

A Wilbur man said four people were driving four-wheelers on Highway 2 by Billy Burger and wondered why he was ticketed but this was allowed to occur.

Sept. 6

Traffic stops: 11

A suspicious man was reported on Fisher Road and Highway 231 north of Reardan.

A problem with a youth was reported at the school in Reardan.

An Oregon woman said a man that was supposed to be checked out of the Sprague Motel rented a room the night prior.

An Odessa man said a six-year-old child shot his son in the back with a BB gun.

A Ford woman reported a possible driver under the influence westbound on Highway 2 from Reardan.

A Davenport woman said she was upset that a man was back at his residence, as she was under the impression he was supposed to remain out of the area.

A caller asked for help getting her keys out of her locked car.

A caller said he was driving behind a possible driver under the influence eastbound on Highway 2 at milepost 255.

Three alarms were reported going off at the school in Harrington.

Sept. 7

Traffic stops: 6

Criminal trespassing was reported in Reardan.

A Davenport man said a field fire had just been put out on Gunning Road just before Harden Road.

A Davenport woman said she was locked out of her vehicle on the 21700 block of Valley Road North.

A caller said the door was broken at the stand at Emerson Park in Wilbur.

A Sprague man reported a transient male walking toward the city on Doerschlag Road.

A Reardan firefighter reported an unresponsive man in a car.

A Marlin man said the hired hand at Marlin Hutterian Brethren had been drinking for the last two to three weeks.

A Harrington man said he got a phone call from someone who was repeating the same question about his beef for sale.

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off on the 23300 block of Highway 28 near Lamona.

A Cheney woman said her ex-husband wouldn’t let their child in common go with her for visitation.

Sept. 8

Traffic stops: 4

An injured deer was reported on Broadway Avenue and Fern Street in Reardan.

A Davenport man reported a loose cow on Highway 25 near Hume Road.

An Odessa man said he was told about hunters hunters on his property without permission on the 2800 block of Hardung Road.

A Davenport man said he saw a man typing a text message in his car at the parking lot in Safeway before passing out in the car.

A caller reported an erratic vehicle eastbound on Highway 2 from the Telford Rest Area.

A problem with a youth was reported at the school in Reardan.

A caller said she was passed in a no-passing zone on Highway 2 at Sherman Draw Road and nearly got in a car crash.

A caller said an unleashed dog was confronting him when he walked his dog.

A Spokane man said three teenage girls were harassing him while he was in front of the Subway in Davenport waiting for a bus.

Sept. 9

Traffic stops: 6

A caller said she locked herself out of her father’s house when she let the dogs outside.

A Nevada woman requested a welfare check on her son, who lives in Odessa.

A caller said he was following a possible driver under the influence eastbound on Highway 2 from milepost 216.

Law enforcement and a city zoning inspector investigated an RV parked where it shouldn’t be on the 200 block of Second Avenue in Odessa.

A Sprague woman said she and her grandson stopped a man named “Spike” from stealing her boat on the 700 block of Second Street.

A Davenport man said he saw a wide flatbed pickup in the ditch on Highway 25.

A Davenport woman said her mother was cold to the touch and a shade of purple.

A caller said some citizens needed to be contacted at Crescent Bay.

A group of citizens were contacted at the Jones Bay Campground.

A caller said a blue Audi was speeding westbound on Highway 2 from Highway 231.

A caller said the manager of the Sprague Motel was harassing her and placing notes all over windows, doors and personal vehicles.

A dead deer was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 241.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at the visitor center at Fort Spokane.

Sept. 10

Traffic stops: 14

An alarm was reported going off at a home in Davenport.

A caller said a driver went off the road into the sage brush on Highway 2.

A lost red and white cow was reported.

A Harrington woman said a car was consistently speeding past her house, which concerned her ahead of her planned barbeque with family and friends who have children.

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off on the 27000 block of Waukon Road east of Reardan.

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off on the 27500 block of Oehlwein Road outside Davenport.

A Harrington woman said she dropped her debit card behind her center console and needed assistance retrieving it.

A caller said she sent her Volkswagen to a repair shop several years ago, but it was stolen and ended up in Mexico. She said she received a ticket in the mail for the vehicle.

A Lynden man said he was following a trailer with its back doors open eastbound on Highway 2 from Creston.

A Wilbur woman reported a small white dog that appeared at Goose Creek RV Park.

A woman said she lost her wallet somewhere around Natural Green Cannabis in Davenport.

An animal problem was reported on the 300 block of Southwest Creston Avenue in Creston.

Staff at the school in Reardan requested a welfare check at a local residence.

A lost wallet was found near Pioneer Plaza in Davenport.

A caller reported two vehicles possibly racing southbound on Highway 25 from Tickle Hills Road.

Malicious mischief was reported on the 500 block of West Broadway Avenue in Reardan.

A Davenport woman said a red car was parked behind Family Dollar while it was closed and periodically tapping on its brakes.

Traffic stops: 15

A vehicle with its flashers on was reported outside Napa Auto Parts in Davenport.

A caller said someone vandalized her mailbox.

A Creston woman said her neighbor’s dog killed 10 of her chickens on the 39200 block of Sherman Road.

A hay bale was reported in the roadway on Highway 2 at milepost 239.

A Davenport woman reported a truck speeding and making bad passes on Highway 2 at Oehlwein Road.

A caller said she accidentally called 911 and hung up when asked if dispatch could talk to her.

A Davenport man said he heard someone shooting a handgun near the Black Bear Motel.

A loose German Shepherd was reported near 12th and Morgan Streets in Davenport.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at McInnis Road and Highway 25.

JAIL BOOKINGS

Sept. 6

Norman Leroy Gleason, 71, Wilbur. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of harassment, obstructing law enforcement and driving under the influence.

Sept. 7

Sean David Clements, 47, Spokane. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of second-degree criminal trespassing, making a false statement to a public servant and removing political advertisements.

Debra Kay Waterslamb, 62, Spokane. Stevens County detainer.

Sept. 8

Zachary Lee Zittel, 35, Omak. Arrested by LCSO on charges of carrying a concealed pistol without a permit, third-degree assault, obstructing law enforcement and driving under the influence.

Sept. 10

Melquisedec Art Serrano, 28, Medical Lake. Arrested by LCSO on charges of third-degree driving with a suspended license and an ignition interlock violation.

Criminal court-Sept. 8

Ethan Robert Mellick, Davenport, two counts of fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Sentenced to 12 days in jail and a $4,500 fine.

Shawn Michael Fugere, Almira, no-contact order violation. Sentenced to two days in jail with credit for one day served, a $250 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Cory Wesley Boss, Odessa, fourth-degree assault and a no-contact order violation. Ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Ernie L. Lawson, Davenport, harassment. Sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit for 14 days served and 12 months supervised probation.

Timothy M. Krenke, Spokane, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to one day in jail, eight hours of community service, a $100 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Justin Robert Roosma, Tacoma, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to three days in jail, 24 hours of community service, a $350 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Christopher M. Mundall, hometown not listed, reckless driving. Sentenced to 45 days in jail, 60 days of electronic home monitoring, an $1,800 fine and 24 months supervised probation.

Criminal docket-Sept. 6

Erik Norman Skau, who is charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief, 12 counts of firearm theft, first-degree theft and motor vehicle theft, had the start of his trial continued to Oct. 12.
