Virginia Hutsell

Dec. 23, 1928 – Nov. 2, 2022

On Nov. 2, 2022, Virginia Margaret (Zuehlke) Hutsell, 93, passed away in Davenport, Wash. She was born to Murray and Margaret (Magin) Zuehlke on Dec. 23, 1928, at home. She was raised in Davenport, Wash., graduation class of 1946. Go Gorillas!

Virginia enjoyed spending time sailing with her husband. Many will remember her passion of sewing and knitting. She created things for many people such as: wardrobes for the Davenport Royalty, wedding and bridesmaid dresses, cheerleader uniforms, blankets, hats and many pieces of clothing for her grandchildren.

She participated and assisted with many town events, living all but two years of her life in Davenport. She was involved in the IORG. Virginia served as Worthy Advisor and Mother Advisor of Davenport Assembly #99, and Grand Deputy. She was also Matron of Davenport Chapter #131.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert "Bob" Hutsell and her sister, Barbara Jannot. Survived by her two children Robynn Rother, Scott (Debbie) Hutsell, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date.
