Traffic stops: 4

A Walla Walla man said he noticed someone was putting funds into his account so he could mail them gift cards in an apparent scam attempt.

A Davenport woman said her neighbor’s large dog was running loose on the 900 block of 14th Street.

A Davenport man said he saw three people on his security camera trying to break into his house.

A caller reported a male driver that appeared to be intoxicated on Highway 2 at milepost 234.

Traffic stops: 12

A Davenport man said there was a person in his alley going through his neighbor’s construction equipment.

A Creston woman said she was told to move out of the house she’d been living in for the past year on the 15500 block of Watson Road by the next day.

A Lincoln County Public Works employee reported an abandoned vehicle on Hansen Road just off Highway 25.

A caller reported a man chopping a tree down on Telford Road just before Miles-Creston Road.

A residential burglary was reported in Reardan on the 500 block of West Summit Avenue.

A Reardan man asked for a deputy to come “visit with his girlfriend.”

A Davenport city employee advised of a house with frozen pipes on Washington Street between Ninth and 10th Streets.

A caller said her husband was using her phone and was using their furnace pump to try and poison her.

A caller said she came across a pile of carcasses that included two dog carcasses while walking.

A citizen was given a vehicle jump start in Creston.

Unsecured premises were reported at the school in Almira.

A Davenport woman said she couldn’t find her high school-aged son.

A caller from a California coroner’s office asked a deputy to contact a man on the 17000 block of Highway 231 outside Edwall to inform the man his father had passed away.

A caller from Lincoln Hospital said a woman tried to enter the building.

An Almira man requested deputy assistance collecting his belongings from a residence on the 100 block of North Fifth Street.

Elk were found near Snider Road west of Fishtrap.

A Spokane woman asked to speak with a deputy regarding divorce and property issues with her ex-husband in Davenport.

A Sprague man said he was being harassed.

A caller reported a small car with no lights on.

A caller said his car was disabled and he’d been in the cold for a few hours.

Small claims court papers were served to a man in Davenport on the 200 block of Washington Street.

District Court summons papers were served to two people on the 44900 block of Highway 174 in Grand Coulee.

District Court summons papers were served to a woman on the 300 block of East Walnut Street in Sprague.

District Court summons papers were served to a man on the 200 block of South Division Street in Almira.

District Court summons papers were served to a woman on the 700 block of 13th Street in Davenport.

District Court summons papers were served to a woman on the 700 block of Second Avenue in Odessa.

District Court summons papers were served to a man on the 100 block of Marjorie Avenue in Odessa.

A Harrington woman asked for a welfare check on outdoor animals on the 100 block of Second Street.

A caller said there “was a fight” and deputies “need to hurry.”

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 25 and Larene Road.

Traffic stops: 2

Davenport City Hall reported a pickup truck and trailer blocking the alley behind City Hall.

Dean’s Drive-In employees said a disabled person was dropped off in front of their business.

The Almira School District reported a runaway student.

A Texas man said his mother was not answering the door on the 52000 block of Euclid Road in Reardan.

A Spokane man asked if a deputy could escort him to the Safeway Apartments in Davenport to retrieve his car.

District Court requested deputy assistance taking a man into custody.

A one-vehicle crash was reported near Rocklyn Road on Highway 2. People were trapped inside the vehicle, but only minor injuries were reported.

A Davenport man said his child was bitten by a puppy.

A welfare check was made on the 100 block of South Elm Street in Reardan, but the person in question was fine.

A vehicle lockout was reported on 10th and Morgan Streets in Davenport.

A caller said a man was arguing with a group of women in front of the Safeway Apartments in Davenport.

A Davenport woman said she received a phone call from a man who told her he was “going to come and mess up her television.”

An Odessa man said he was having issues with his ex-wife and her new boyfriend over child visitation issues.

A vehicle lockout was reported at Conoco in Wilbur.

A four-year-old girl seizing was reported.

A woman said she may have been scammed by a man she bought a weiner dog from who said he lived on the 500 block of Maxwell Street in Davenport.

A Spokane man said a woman came to his residence to harass him.

A Reardan man said he found an abandoned truck in front of his house on Spring Creek Grange Road.

A Davenport woman said her mother wouldn’t provide proof of insurance following a car crash that occurred on private property.

A Sprague woman said a trailer and car were parked in the roadway by the local school.

An Odessa woman said a man had been yelling obscenities on his porch for 20 minutes.

Two lost cows were reported on Highway 25.

A caller said their neighbor’s dog was going crazy and attacking their fence.

Lincoln Hospital reported a man dragging a suitcase looking inside hospital windows.

A caller said the cops who live across from him were illegally setting off fireworks.

Steven Laurence Grammer, 48, Lynwood. Originally arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of making a false statement to a public servant, third-degree driving with a suspended license and an ignition interlock violation.

Jan. 3

Monica Gaye Joseph, 62, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of first-degree driving with a suspended license.

Jan. 4

John William Orndorff, 54, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of second-degree assault.

Jan. 5

Christopher Gregg Noel, 46, Spokane Valley. Arrested by LCSO on charges of third-degree driving with a suspended license and an ignition interlock violation.

Jan. 6

Mandy Arlene Waters, 41, Wilbur. Originally arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

Robert Wayne Pace II, Spokane, failure to transfer a title within 45 days and operating a vehicle without valid certification of a title. Case dismissed.

Dakota Michael McQuain, Valley, second-degree driving with a suspended license. Case dismissed.

Petra Thomas Cook, Odessa, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Case dismissed.

Trevor John Jolma, Davenport, reckless endangerment. Sentenced to three days in jail, 24 hours community service, a $500 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Brandon Scott Collins, Davenport, recklessly discharging fireworks and obstructing a law enforcement officer. Sentenced to four days in jail, 24 hours community service, a $500 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Em. SantaCruz Aparicio, Quincy, third-degree driving with a suspended license (dismissed), making a false statement to a public servant and violating a protection order. Sentenced to three days in jail, 24 hours community service, a $500 fine, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Andrew Steven Guerts, Davenport, operating a vehicle without a license. Sentenced to two days in jail, 16 hours community service, a $250 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Vickie Diane Hayes, Post Falls, driving under the influence amended to reckless driving. Sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served, a $500 fine and 24 months probation.

Jeannette H. Bennett, Spokane, reckless endangerment. Sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served, a $500 fine, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Richardson Bima, Spokane, driving under the influence. Case dismissed.

Steven Laurence Grammar, hometown not listed, making a false statement to a public servant and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Sentenced to two days in jail, eight hours community service, a $500 fine, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Lincoln County Clerk

Criminal docket-Jan. 3

Richardson Bima, who is charged with driving under the influence with prior offenses, entered a not-guilty plea. Bail was lowered to $2,500. A readiness hearing was set for Jan. 31 and a jury trial was set for Feb. 22.

Shane T. Rodriguez-Torres was convicted of residential burglary, first-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief and was sentenced to nine months in jail.
