Christian Roland "Chris" Larsen was born to Christian Sixtus Larsen, and Marie (Jensen) Larsen on Dec. 11th, 1934, in Odessa, Wash. He was the youngest of seven children and was raised on a farm near Wilson Creek, Wash. He graduated from Wilson Creek High School in 1953. He attended Washington State College graduating in 1957 with a degree in agriculture. In 1956 he married Phyllis Frick of Marlin, Wash.
