Deer Meadows man found dead in car

DEER MEADOWS—An elderly local man was found dead in his running white 2019 Nissan Rogue just after 6:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Gary Edgar Pruden was discovered by a local woman and ruled deceased by authorities about an hour later.

According to reports, Lisa Staley of Deer Meadows said she saw a woman passed out in a running vehicle blocking the intersection of Deer Meadows and Quail Run Roads.
