She grew up on their family farm outside of Odessa and went to school in Odessa where she participated in many activities such as band and 4H.
As a young adult Dori attended secretarial school and jumped into the legal field headfirst where she became an invaluable member of the legal community for the remainder of her professional career.
In the mid 70's she met the love of her life - Larry Zahler. Together and with friends they made lasting memories and took grand adventures on Larry's motorcycle.
On Aug. 9, 1980, Dori and Larry were married in a beautiful park in Tieton, Wash., surrounded by family and friends. She was a beautiful bride and wore her contagious smile the whole day.
In 1984 Larry and Dori welcomed their first child into the world. A daughter named Rebecca. In 1987 they completed their family with a son named Jeffrey. The 4 of them lived in Kent, Wash. and shared countless laughs, adventures and special memories.

Dori and Larry spent the last 23 years in Colville enjoying life and exchanging kisses every chance they could. They were deeply in love.
Dori will be immensely missed and fondly remembered by her children Rebecca and Jeffrey, her son in-law Maverick, grandchildren Bella and Mavy, her mother Wilma, sisters Terrie and Debbie, and her many extended family members, as well as friends. But most importantly, by her loving husband - Larry.
