Record-Times to continue as paper of record
DAVENPORT — Free Press Publishing will once again be Lincoln County’s legal advertisement publisher.
The Lincoln County Commissioners referred a bid from Free Press Publishing to the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office at a regular meeting Monday, April 3.
The Cheney-based publishing company, which owns newspapers in Lincoln County, Adams County, Spokane Valley and Whitman County, was the only business to bid on county legals this year.
More rain in forecast this weekend
DAVENPORT — The temperature should rise a bit by Easter weekend, but the precipitation is forecasted to continue through the weekend celebration.
Good Friday carries a 70% chance of rain with a high of 53 in Davenport. The precipitation odds lower for Saturday and temperature forecast increases, with a 40% chance of rain and a high of 56.
Easter Sunday has the brightest outlook, with a 30% chance of rain and a high of 58.
Temperatures should be higher in Odessa, with highs of 57, 59 and 61 forecasted this weekend. Shower chances range between 20-50%.
