Robert “Bob” Lee Fisher

July 9, 1945- Mar. 29, 2023

Robert Lee Fisher went to be with his Lord on March 29, 2023. He suffered many symptoms that he acquired from the “Agent Orange” in Vietnam. He was 77 years.

Bob was born to Breeta Pearl (Nordquist) Fisher and Frederick Carl Fisher on July 9, 1945 in Tacoma, Wash. Bob was raised between Tacoma and Eatonville, Wash. and he graduated from Eatonville HS in 1963. He had a passion for old cars in high school.

Bob studied at Yakima Valley Community College, was a member of the Tennis team and was in the Naval Reserves. After President Johnson activated the reserves, he shipped out on Oct. 30, 1967, aboard the USS Comstock as a Signalman, in Vietnam War, until 1968.

After his Naval service, he worked for the railroad in Tacoma, then he started working with his father at Fishers’ Cabinets. Bob was a carpenter/contractor for most of his life, ending as a truck driver. During his lifetime, he enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, and riding his Polaris General. He trained bloodhounds for search and rescue and worked on the infamous “Green River Murders”.

Bob met Donna Kirkwood Miller in 2002 and they were married in 2007. He and his wife Donna had a shared passion for the WSU Cougar football team and loved to tailgate at games.

Bob and Donna moved from the South Hill of Spokane to the lovely community of Seven Bays, Wash. where Bob retired at age 70. Bob loved visiting his lifelong friends in Eatonville yearly. He contributed his carpentry skills to the construction of the church that he attended and cherished his church family. He requested to have this church be where we would have his Celebration of Life.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Donna, his sons Paul Fisher and Mark Fisher and daughter Kristin Berres and his only grandchild Aidan Berres. Bob is also survived by stepchildren Tracey Harder, George Samuelson, Jeremy Fisher, Marci Miller and Melissa Miller and step granddaughter Trinity Miller.
